Whether you’re a local looking to avoid the badge-required chaos or an out-of-towner wanting an authentic taste of Austin, we’ve got the perfect lineup of where to sip on Big Country and catch some of the best unofficial SXSW events.

March 8
10AM-1PM – Open Play @ Padel Austin: Get your game on and kick off SXSW with some friendly competition at Padel Austin. FREE
8PM-2AM – Options Loves Techno @ Options Austin: A late-night dance party with some of the best underground techno beats in town. $20
March 12
4-7PM – Kevin Morby @ The Long Time: An intimate set from the folk-rock favorite in one of Austin’s most unique venues. FREE
5-9PM – Radio Roundup @ Radio East: A stacked lineup at this east side staple, serving up great tunes and even better drinks.
March 13
12-5PM – Pooneh Presents: Being Dead / Wand / Cardinals / Native Sun / YHWH Nailgun / Delivery @ Radio East: A must-see showcase featuring some of the most exciting up-and-coming bands.
March 14
12-5PM – Pooneh's Freaky Friday: Holy F*ck / Baths / Frankie & The Witch Fingers / Annabelle Chairlegs / TVOD @ Radio East: Expect high-energy performances and a party you won’t forget.
1-7PM – Music & Drinks @ Imogene & Willie: Chill vibes, good music, and an excuse to check out this iconic shop.
6-9PM – Galactic Giddy Up Y'all with Yelp @ Hampton Inn Austin
East Side 5th Street: Cosmic country meets good drinks at this fun SXSW event benefitting the Central Texas Food Bank.
March 15

East Side 5th Street: If you missed it the first time, here’s another chance to catch the intergalactic honky tonk experience benefitting the Central Texas Food Bank.
7PM-2AM – Mas Cultura Showcase @ Vaquero Taquero: End SXSW on a high note with a cultural celebration featuring live music, art, and some of the best tacos in town.
